My Journey To a Degree: A Mid-life Crisis

As I begin Business 110 - Intro to Entrepreneurship, I will be journaling weekly to share my thoughts and impressions of topics and ideas. I am about 50 credits away from a degree in Business Management and look forward to the day I can say, "I have a degree - I'm finished!" But I also look forward to the journey along the way because I know in many ways it will be much more valuable than the piece of paper. This week we were introduced to investing in ourselves and thinking of us as a startup. What a great way to think of me. I want to invest in me and just as a new start up, do what it takes to make me a success. I loved to words of President Hinckley that he shared with the young students at BYU-I. You can feel the love he has for the youth and his impassioned plea for them to do their best each day was inspiring. I look forward to hearing more from successful business professionals as we delve more into the ins and outs of what a successful entrepreneur looks like....
